Hollywood actor, producer, and director J.J Abrams leave no stone unturned when it comes to looking for a perfect cast for a movie. So was the cast in the Force Awaken which happens to be the first installments in the sequel trilogy to the Star Wars. The award-winning director is always on the lookout for new talents to play a part in the movie and not essentially familiar faces who have made names in other projects.

This he made us know when he cast upcoming British actors John Boyega and Daisy Ridley to play the lead roles as Finn and Rey. This paved the way for them, to become famous and star in other big projects.

  1. Daisy Ridley – Rey

She discovered her talent when she began the journey in search of the Jedi Master and provide hope to a galaxy about to go to war. This lead character was played by Daisy Ridley who wasn’t popular at the time or even a good pick for the role.

  1. Saoirse Ronan

The delectable Irish actress auditioned for a role in the force awaken but unfortunately lost out on the opportunity to star in the Star Wars, but she did get to star in the Atonement which made her popular.

  1. Elizabeth Olsen

You may know her as the Scarlet Witch in Marvels Age Of Ultron. Olsen who happens to be a fan of Star Wars lost out on the opportunity to be part of the Star Wars franchise as she turned down an audition with J.J Abrams due to the fact that she was already committed to the Marvel franchise.

  1. Jennifer Lawrence

The popular actress was on Abrams list of potential cast for a role in the Star Wars but she was substituted with a new face played by her look-alike Vanessa Bayer who made the part look so easy.

  1. Shailene Woodley

The actress lost out on the opportunity to play the role of Rey in the Star Wars franchise. Although no one really knows how she missed out, could have been the auditions or she didn’t just stand a chance.

  1. John Boyega

The actor was willing to play a role meant to a Caucasian. Why J.J Abrams wasn’t easily swayed by ethnicity he still allowed Boyega the chance to audition for the role of Finn but sadly he didn’t get the role.

  1. Micheal B. Jordan

After getting his big movie break in 2013, playing the lead role in Fruitvale Station, the actor has enjoyed a lead role status with big breaks in movies like Fantastic Four, Creed, and Black Panther. However, he didn’t get to play a role in the Star Wars.

  1. Ray Fisher

The actor who stars in the Justice League is still yet to become a popular Hollywood star. Maybe a role in the Star Wars could have been the big break he needed. Things are looking good for the rookie actor as he is set to star in his own Superhero movie.
